Orkhon waterfall, one of our National Park locates in Central Mongolia. Its vast steppes and rich grassland makes it the perfect place to enjoy galloping and see animals grazing around nomadic dwelling Gers. Region was able to preserve its Mongolian nomadic tradition and archeological site for centuries allowing it to be part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. Horse trekking stars from this area and riding through out Eight lakes protected area. You will be camping next to the lakes and nomadic family where there is possibility to introduce real Mongolian culture such as taste some milk tea, dried cheese and even see how lady from family milking their yaks. Every night you will be camping in this beautiful place under a starry sky.

Kharkhorin, formerly known as Kharakhorum, was the capital of Genghis Khaan's Great Mongol Empire in the 13th century. After the Mongolian capital moved to Beijing and the fall of the Empire, Min soldiers destroyed the abandoned Kharakhorum in 1388. Today, in the vast valley of the Orkhon River, the awe-inspiring ancient monastery Erdenezuu coexists with Kharkhorin town. See some valuable religious articles in the monastery museum, and view its stunning architecture. Before you visit to Erdenezuu Monastery, you will visit museum where you will have good knowledge about ancient city and monastery.
Waterfall, the waterfall falls from 24 m lava cliffs when the Ulaan River confluence the Orkhon River. Therefore, the waterfall is called differently such as Ulaantsutgalan or Orkhon Waterfall or Orkhonii Khurkheree. The Ulaan Tsutgalan waterfall is one of the picturesque sights in the historically significant Orkhon River Valley, which requires bumpy driving through the lava covered scenic valley full of nomads and their animals. You will find the waterfall is a great hiking spot including the descent and ascent to the 22 m deep canyon dotted with pine trees, on the trails about 250 m downstream from the waterfall. Alternatively, you can swim in the cold water or hire a boat to feel the water roaring. Many visitors like to sunbathe on the lava boulders near the Ulaan River confluence on the upper site. Except for hiking and sightseeing, horse riding, rafting, camping, and nomad life experiences are the options you could try in the picturesque surrounding of the waterfall. The Ulaan Tsutgalan waterfall gets frozen in winter forming an ice wall and is a famous winter tourist attraction.
Eight Lakes - Khuisiin Naiman Nuur LOCATION: 520 km from Ulaanbaatar, 70 km from Bat-Ulzii town of Uvurkhangai province, and 35 km southwest of Ulaantsutgalan/Orkhon waterfall, at an altitude of 2400 m above the sea level among the Khangai Mountain Range.The Khuisiin Naiman Nuur or Eight Lakes were formed by volcanic eruptions centuries ago and are a part of the 11500 hectares Khuisiin Naiman Nuur Nature Reserve. These scenic lakes are accessible on horseback or hiking from the northern side. The Eight Lakes are called Shireet, Mukhar, Khaliut, Bugat, Khaya, Duruu, Khuis, and Onon located 500 m to 3 km to each other.The area extremely beautiful surrounded by coniferous tree-covered mountains and the forest clearings have multitudes of wildflowers, is a famous horse-riding destination in central Mongolia. Shireet is the largest among the Eight Lakes and is accessible by sturdy 4WD from the southern side. The area is relatively cool in summer with an average temperature of +20°C day time and +15°C at night. It is advisable to bring fly spray both for the hikers and horse riders as the grassy area attract flies.
Mini-gobi /Elsen tasarkhai, Elsen tasarkhai, Khogno Khan /Mongol Els, is a sand dune that extendas across provinces : Tuv Bulgan and Uvurkhangai, to become part of the Khugnu Khan mountain range. This semi-desert offers unique blend of desert -like landscape, grassy steppes, and rocky mountains, providing a diverse and captivating experience for travelers. Popular activities include exploring the sand dunes on foot, horse / camel rides, hiking in the mountains, or immersing in nomadic lifestyles, culture and tradition. The Elsen Tasarkhai literally means “an isolated torn-off piece of sand” and it is a small sequence of real desert in the midst of green steppes. It is located 280km west of Ulaanbaatar and 80km east of Karakorum – the ancient Mongolian capital.
Mini-Gobi - Ulaanbaatar, You be able to arrive in the city earlier maybe around 1:00pm even before, if you leave early. Mini-gobi distanced only 250km from the city and 4-5,5 hours driving. Then you will have plenty of time go for shopping mall.
